QC2Sky software

QC2Sky software, written by Marco Roggero in Fortran language, is available for free download and can be used to graphically display the qc plot files from TEQC in azimuth/elevation sky plots.The software is available under GNU/GPL licence. The output files are BMP images of the SNR, multipath and ionosphere skyplots. The cycle slip are represented as green dots, while the green line in the following images is not produced automatically by the software.

Cromatic scale

QC2Sky software uses colour scales to represent the output values. The scale meaning is given in fig. 3. Colours are represented by a palette, so it is useful to convert the bitmap output (1131 kb) in GIF format (~80 kb) without loss of quality.

Compile and execute QC2Sky

Source files can be compiled by Compaq Visual Fortran 6, but you can download the Microsoft Windows executable. I have not tried other compilers. QC2Sky can be executed from command line; type the command:

qc2sky filename cutoff linewidth background

where:

	filename:	TEQC output filename, without extension
	cutoff:	cut-off angle (degrees)
	linewidth:	line width [1-9]
	background color:	background color [b(lack) – w(hite)]

The following DOS batch file produces BMP output, convert BMP to GIF and delete BMP. Try it!
